Does anyone know if the Schumann Resonance frequency plays a part in 'intention experiments

Hi.

For some time now, I've known about a frequency known as the 'Schumann Resonance frequency.' It's a frequency produced by the Earth itself, at a radio frequency of 7.83 Hz. That's well within the brain wave activity of the human brain (low alpha to high theta, to be exact).

I'm just wondering if anyone knows - or at least have some speculation - on whether or not that this frequency my play a part in intention experiments?

There is a great new film called "Esoteric Agenda" which talks about this subject as well. It's amazing how much different subjects this documentary covers and how it all fits together. Highly recommended!

Hi Michael and Wayne, thank you for this remarkable piece of footage that brings together so many parts of the ongoing processes of world and personal change. The end part certainly answers Wayne’s question.

It’s a long video, but well worth watching.

The discovery of a link between emotions and DNA is an important one and an area well worth researching and how fear is being used to restrict our potential and our links to our greater self is another well worth researching in our personal quest to find our two selves.

I do like the comment at the end in that change comes from within and not from fighting the system, although I would guess that there may be times that you need to fight what is going on in your outside world for your own survival.

He talks about this a little when going into using the whole spectrum of emotions.

Harmony and resonance seem to be key factors in our personal and collective relationship to the whole. From stillness comes great potential?

Maybe when at point of stillness our bodies become resonant with the greater universal whole and the universal wholes potential. Perhaps this is what those that govern fear the most as they would potentially be up against a universal force?

This could be the reasoning behind constantly bombarding us with negativity through the media and education, as this would affectively create a flight from the right and shut down the vast majority’s link with their higher self?

I have downloaded this film with orbit and will watch it again in about a weeks time as lots to take in over one viewing.

Best intentions to you and all…..Steve
PS: this video is in league with Zeitgeist The Movie, Thunderbolts of the Gods and What the Beep! Great stuff for getting those brain cells firing and jumping those synaptic gaps within and bridging those gaps without! :o)

Just to let you know, I appreciate that you let me know about the online video Michael.

But I have a problem - one that's a hardware problem. I have an old computer that has a clocking speed of 450Mhz, so the video doesn't come in well. The video is slow, and the audio sounds 'chopped' when I played it. I had troubles understanding the audio because of it.

Out of curiosity - what did the video say that would answer my question?

Hi Wayne, here is a web page full of text with no pictures with some of the information about how the Schumann Resonance frequency is affecting us all.

http://www.thecamino.com.ar/zeropointand.htm

Form appears to have a resonance that bonds it into form and like the ancients have said the universe has a sound. (maybe the correct translation would turn out to be a resonance) The resonance at the centre of the universe is related to the resonance of our sun and our suns resonance is related to the Schumann cavity resonance and the Schumann cavity resonance is related to our bodies.

If you read Lynne’s book the Intention Experiment you will find a section in the book speaking about a cavity that has been found in the heart. It goes onto explain that the heart is much more than just a pump! It’s a photon transceiver!

As the frequency of the Schumann cavity raises the frequency inside of our body raises and it’s believed that this will unlock our DNA. When this occurs it’s predicted that this will unlock abilities that we have not had since this time in the last great cycle. There is more information on The Children of the Sun group and on light workers web pages.

So it may well turn out that has the frequency of the Schumann cavity raises our abilities to use the laws of intention and attraction will be amplified in some way and knowing this makes me even more suspicious of the HARPP experiments being conducted on the Schumann cavity over this crucial period of time.

Gregg Brayden did some research on this.

First off, I owe you for the websites Steven. I just took a quick glance, and it appears that it provides more information that I would love to learn.

As for the heart, I'll have to go through Lynn's book again. I tend to forget things easily Steven.

And I heard about the benefits of using the frequency you talk about Cindy. I think that the frequency is also suppossed to stimulate the pineal gland.

As for using a device in a group setting, I have an easier way.

I don't know if anyone here know's about binaural beats, but Life Technologies creates audio CDs that produce a binaural beat at the Shumann Resonance Frequency. I've got a copy of the CD, and I've notice an effect. When I use the CD, I feel my two prominent chakras - the crown and heart chakras - open up. I've done some work with meditation and self-hypnosis while listening to the CD. I'm obese, so I decidede try visualization with the CD to see if I'd get any results. I imagined I was skinnier, and doing set ups. During this meditation, I felt tension in my abdominal muscles, just as though I was really doing the set ups. It definitely had a physical effect. The last time I got weighed at the doctor's office, it looked as though I had lost a few pounds after using the CD. So, I've got some experience with the frequency itself. I haven't started an intention experiment with yet. I was wanting to see if anyone knew if it would help, or what their opinions would be.

As for the Life Technology website, it's http://www.lifetechnology.org. Maybe we can experiment with the CD, if anyone here is interested in trying. I know I'm going to keep trying.

7.83 Hz eh? I can create the binaural tones, I personally was aiming at creating a 8Hz tone for the fact that (as you say) low Alpha (higher consciousness) & high Theta (low dream state) would be perfect for a meditation frequency, I didn't have a clue about the Schumann Resonance so I thank you for enlightening me.

I will be adding the 7.83Hz binaural frequency to our Healing waters group page for any of those that would love to experiment and the option for me to keep you posted is there also... Many thanks again.

Much Respect, Love, Gratitude... One.

Namaste,

Glad to find you whilst I'm catching up...

See you in my cosmic binaural frequency dreams...

You're welcome Dr.Namaste. I'm always looking up esoteric stuff like this. So far, the frequency has had positive effects on me. An considering I have anxiety disorders, I've found CDs with binaural beats tend to sooth the anxieties I have.

There's a website for a company called Brain Sync that sells audio CDs with binaural beats in them. Some of them have guided meditation along with the audio frequencies that create the binaural beat in the background.

I'll list the website so you can check out the large selection of binaural beat CDs they sell.

Enjoy browsing their selection of CDs!!!!

WayneG and others, I would speculate that ELF frequencies such as 7.83 Hz could interfere and not enhance human brain function whether it’s engaged in intention experiments or just plain mundane thought. I didn’t think that 7.82 Hz interference would be helpful to brain activity but perhaps in lower intensities it may do just that. I remember some community in the US west that was disturbed by a periodic buzz. The whole community felt it. The issue hasn’t been mentioned for several years now. As far as I know, there has never been any announced ELF activity in the west.

I found this in Wikipedia: “Extremely low frequency (ELF) is the band of radio frequencies from 3 to 30 Hz. ELF was used by the US Navy and Soviet/Russian Navy to communicate with submerged submarines.”
“Because of this huge [antenna] size requirement, and in order to transmit internationally using ELF frequencies, the earth itself must be used as an antenna, with extremely long leads going into the ground. The US maintained two sites, in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, Wisconsin and the Escanaba River State Forest, Michigan (originally named Project Sanguine, then downsized and rechristened Project ELF prior to construction), until they were dismantled, beginning in late September 2004. Both sites used long power lines, so-called ground dipoles, as leads. These leads were in multiple strands ranging from 22.5 to 45 kilometers long. Because of the inefficiency of this method, considerable amounts of electrical power were required to operate the system.”
“Naturally-occurring ELF waves are present on Earth, resonating in the region between ionosphere and surface. They are initiated by lightning strikes that make electrons in the atmosphere oscillate. The fundamental mode of the Earth-ionosphere cavity has the wavelength equal to the circumference of the Earth, which gives a resonance frequency of 7.8 Hz. This frequency (and higher resonance modes: 14, 20, 26 and 32 Hz) appear as peaks in the ELF spectrum and are called Schumann resonance.”
I would guess that even naturally occurring ELF waves are mentally disturbing. Natural human fear of the sight and sound of lightening could also be provoked by feelings sensed from the waves. But, again, these are high intensity bursts. The Monroe Institute http://www.monroeinstitute.com/ for example, may be working with these frequencies at much lower intensities for mental benefit in their hemi-sync program. JohnM

I would just like to point out that 7.83Hz is a perfectly normal brain frequency that occurs just after One falls asleep. Audio frequencies and brain frequencies are also in two separate categories & are only related in the fact that they are both frequencies, but then aren't we all?
Your wiki info only mentioned audio & electrical frequencies and earths resonance, the higher modes (I would speculate) are harmonics, the trouble is the numbers don't relate properly and are too random to be true harmonics of the fundamental 7.8Hz.
On another point, they tried zapping people in a war with ELF & quite frankly it was rubbish, however, EHFs have proven to be quite effective in sonic weaponry, ie. sweeping mine fields, they could even tune into the resonant frequency of ones blood/veins & make one feel very uncomfortable indeed, even to the point of death! It's like breaking a glass with sound by amplifying the glass's own resonant frequency, causing it to shatter into 1000 pieces. Light can also be used in the same manner but it makes a better cutting tool.

The frequencies we use are all based on Monroe institute research with only one difference, we don't use any kind of modulation, especially amplitude modulation, as these types of frequency do not represent true brain frequencies or states of mind. In the UK, if one is institutionalized one is in need of psychiatric help, so we don't deal with institutes, lol.

I don't actually know the maximum brain frequency possible because the bandwidth is immense but I do know that there is a natural limit placed within nature in relation to the resonant frequency of everything known in creation and that no frequency below 32Hz is dangerous as they are perfectly within the realm of brain frequencies, however, 0.0Hz is brain dead, so going there would be a waste of time as there is nothing to hear, also playing a beta tone will not help one get to sleep because of its relationship to our being awake, some simply use white or pink noise as they amplify your own brain frequencies, the wind & water frequencies are variants of white & pink noise.

Around 8Hz just happens to be the realm of higher thought patterns, accelerated learning, it is the origin, the Alpha & also said to be the primordial mind or buddah state

Thanks for the link Wayne, I'll check it out... I'm offering my binaural tones for free, you can't get any cheaper than that!, lol

Peace & Thanks for the info:-) One.

Dr.Namaste & WayneG, I think the resonance mode harmonics in the Wiki article are just approximates to illustrate the principle. Actual figures are measured off the expected harmonic due to natural influences.

Again, from Wikipedia:
“Schumann resonances are global electromagnetic resonances, excited by lightning discharges in the cavity formed by the Earth surface and the ionosphere.”

“In an ideal cavity, the resonant frequency of the n-th mode fn is determined by the Earth radius a and the speed of light c [6]." There is a formula but it won't paste into this box.

The real Earth-ionosphere waveguide is not a perfect electromagnetic cavity. Losses due to finite ionosphere electrical conductivity make the system resonate at lower frequencies than would be expected in an ideal case, and the observed peaks are wide. In addition there are a number of horizontal asymmetries – day-night transition, latitudinal changes in the Earth magnetic field, sudden ionospheric disturbances, polar cap absorption, etc. that complicate the Schumann resonance power spectra.”

The article says that the observed peaks are wide. This situation may be unnatural to the human brain and therefore disturbing in their width as well as in their intensity. At certain precise widths, correct frequencies, and much less power, they may enhance favorable brain activity. JohnM

Thank John, I was confusing myself, lol.
This idea is sounding very strange to me as it's very new to me, but from my overstanding of frequencies I see there must be higher and lower harmonics, with a 8Hz fundamental 32Hz appears only 2 octaves above it, so how come we don't hear some sort of low frequency tone that would rise & fall in pitch when lightning storms are active? But I see a problem with the theory because of the pitch modulation caused by atmospheric conditions, with temperature & humidity probably being top of the list would cause serious implications when attempting to acquire this 7.8Hz reading.
I could experiment by recording lightening & speeding it up x3 just to see if any low frequency tones become audible, I'll be expecting a few decent storms then thank you, lol.

Thanks again for the info

Much respect. One.
