LET'S CONTINUE THE MAGIC OF OUR GROUP INTENTIONS

Dear everyone,

In terms of our main objective - peace in Sri Lanka - now comes the wait. Our scientific team will begin to collate the two years of weekly violence data we have on the Wanni district, model what 'should' happen, according to the statistics, and then compare that with what 'did' happen, as we receive the daily violence data from our sources at the Foundation for Co-existence.

As many of you observed, the fighting in the Wanni intensified last week, but now seems to be subsiding as the rebel forces are losing their hold. I will keep you posted with information as soon as I get it.

But while we're awaiting our results, we also have to acknowledge that something special happened here last week.

Thousands of you from 65 countries across the globe put aside your differences and prejudices, and prayed for a little, largely neglected country on the other side of the map.

That in itself is remarkable.

But something even more remarkable occurred. Many of you felt the palpable power of the group, a force far greater than your individual efforts. And with this power, the healers began to report healings in their own lives. I am receiving extraordinary stories from all you about greater peace in your own relations; 'Jane', for instance, just wrote me to say that she and her daughter in law are suddenly on wonderful terms.

I am a stunned witness to the positive power of the group, the power of connection, the way in which it brings out the best in our common humanity, both on this site and in my Intention workshops.

My main objective is to prove the power of group intention. Although there are many other meditation groups and even studies examining the effect of group intention on REG machines and geomagnetic sensors (the Global Coherence Project) I believe we are unique in our attempt to scientifically measure whether we can actually increase harmony in a measurable way. Soon we'll find out, with our first pilot and next year with the new ones I have planned.

Nevertheless, in between these 'big' experiments'I would like to propose that we carry on together in several ways:

1) We come together every Saturday at 8 pm GMT for our Intentions of the Week. Those are intentions sent to deserving people with health challenges. You can nominate your own loved ones, and we will monitor the results. Just consult the front page of our main website.

This new time gives us a friendly time zone for almost all the countries participating, including Australia:

6 am Australia
10 am Hawaii
1 pm Pacific
4 pm Eastern
9 pm UK
10 pm European

2) I investigate the possibility of setting up a weekly, informal 'peace' intention to a different country each week. I will report back to you shortly, once I consult with our web team.

3) You report in to me on your own weekly experiences of what happened to you (you can report on some of your experiences on this thread, and I'll send you a survey to monitor what else happened to you), which I'll collate into results of the 'peace experiment' that has occurred in our own lives.

Thank you all so much for making this extraordinary event a success. Let's keep the magic and the momentum going.

Warm wishes

Lynne McTaggart

What a great idea to continue the momentum of the loving energy that we have generated together! I also even prefer the new times. I'll definitely be tuning in and thanks again for a remarkable organization for this incredible experiment! Love, Jean

Hello Lynne
Count me in for a continued weekly peace intention group to send once a week on Saturday to a designated place all at the same time a wave of peace and healing.
I must admit, that Saturday is a day where I am more often undertaking things with friends outside of my home and away from my pc. If you would consider Sunday - a day where I am mostly in my home and would have more often time to participate?
I have a guess that others might think the same? Yet I can agree to Saturday if this parameter is fixed.
I do find that the "side-effect" on my life during the past week was beautiful and I wish to keep exploring what we can achieve as a group as well as as individuals.....

Greetings from Switzerland - Ursula

I would also like to continue this intention experience, but I also agree that Sunday may be a better day. Saturday usually do become busy with the family. I have an 8 and 4 year old girls that like to be active. We usually have been doing things on Saturdays.

A suggestion....maybe have two days tentatively scheduled, Saturdays and Sundays, in which we could all participate in either one or both.

Thanks again Lynne.

Yes!

Saturdays can get busy, but I'm sure we will all do our best to arrange around the time to be together with our intentions.

Thank you for continuing this opportunity that enriches us and all of our world!

With warm thoughts,

Mary

Lynne, I too would love to participate and that time of night on a Saturday ( 10, pm) should work pretty well for me.

I haven´t had much time to come on here this week but will catch up with the posts in a little while.

May I just say that I too have been noticing changes about myself recently, ones that I hardly know how to put into words. I´ve always been pretty emotional but am more so at the moment. I find myself wondering "how can I help" and feeling "no going back".
I feel I´m starting to find my way and feel more at peace and happy with myself.

Reading your book and joining this site has been a big help along the way for me although I still have far far to go.

Thank you.

Peace, love and light to all

Sounds like a wonderful idea! I must say however, Saturdays are my fun days (its the weekend!), and I think Sunday would work much better...Most people are around the house on Sunday evening (although I realize its not evening everywhere) and I know that would work better for me. Look forward to intending with the group once again. Much love,
Cameron

Dear Lynne,

I am in too,

As soon as the peace intention experiment came to an end, I very soon felt I was missing it and the wonderful group energy that was building up,

It is therefore a true pleasure to continue with the experiments and to meet you all every week.

Namaste,
Sylvie

I have just been guided to this site and would like to participate. I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that any intentions have an effect, and the joining of our energy will increase this, but that's clearly what the experiments set out to scientifically prove, and how wonderful to have the scientific fact to back up the long standing belief.

Kryon is indeed correct.
