What was your "aha!" moment? Please share your story.

Let's face it, life is confusing! Questions such as—
  • Who am I?
  • What am I supposed to be doing with my life?
  • Is there such a thing as enlightenment?
  • If there is, how do I get there?
  • How will I know if I've chosen the right path?
can add to the confusion. Aha! Life Maps© is a place where you are encouraged to share your own personal life map. What was your Aha! moment that changed your life path? I have a feeling we share many similar stories.

  • Were you meditating when it happened?
  • Did it start with a traumatic event such as an accident, near-death experience, health issue, the death of someone you loved, or was it a joyous occasion such as the birth of a child, a marriage, or a spiritual experience?
  • Were you alone or with someone?
  • Were you out in nature or sitting at a corporate conference table, or where?
  • Did it include any visions or guidance from other realms?
  • Did you take immediate action or let it percolate for a while?
  • How has it changed your life?
  • Are you happier now, or more confused than ever?
Maybe you have more to add. Share as much or as little as you wish—it's up to you. The purpose of sharing your "aha!" moment is to show others a snapshot of how someone got from A to B. It might help them recognize and connect with their own Life Map to higher consciousness. Often, people are either reluctant to trust their intuition or guidance system or afraid to take action. Hopefully this forum will serve as a jumping off point to new self discoveries for those who wish to find the key to their higher consciousness and transformation. Thank you for sharing your stories! Love, light and laughter,
Gloria

Hi Everyone!
As we approach Thanksgiving Day here in the USA, I have been considering the nature and power of Appreciation, Gratitude and Thanks in our personal lives and as well as the collective. Please check out my latest blog, "What is Appreciation" http://theintentionexperiment.ning.com/profiles/blogs/what-is-appreciation or at the World Appreciation Day site: http://wp.me/pG7pW-N

May each of you know appreciation for any and all gifts of your lives.
Blessing,
Dawn

World Appreciation Day

Hi Everyone,
I am new to this group and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Dawn and pure inspiration struck me about 6 weeks ago when the idea of a World Appreciation Day came to me in the night. I am trying to reach as many people as possible around the Earth to join me and many others on 14 February, 2010.

All you need do is choose to devote 5 minutes of your day on 14 February, 2010 to basking in feelings of appreciation. To find out more or let us know you plan to participate, please check out: http://fiveminutexperiment.wordpress.com/join-us/

Many thanks and blessings!

I seem to require repeated Aha Moments. Whenever I get to far off track something comes along to nudge, or shove, me back in the right direction. Right now I am finishing a project that is the result of one of those impulses.

Hello Gloria Namaste,
the AHA. I have continually found in different areas of my life as a healer.
I like to think of myself as a guy that likes to give love to others and as much
as possible. The route has been through many ways. I assisted my clients as
a hairstylist and friend. For me being able to allow myself to let love in is so hard, as a child I honestly rarely allowed those feelings, yet I know that they do assist, I think some of my best moments have been showing some love
to other people that have a hard time feeling loved, yet assist many, many others to do so.I've also assisted in the healing arts massage, facials, aromatherapy, some light chakra work,
Unfortuately at some point and time in my life I started to undergo definet
mental health issues, schizophrenia, which became anxiety and depression, which became mood disorders, and then to now being bi-polar.
I have had a man that has worked with me without pay,
Van Alton Daniels, in hypnotherapy and the language of love.
His basics are feeling every emotion from the primordial part of the brain,
the reptilian part of the brain, the survival part of our minds, and generating
those survival emotions, fear, anger, etc. and talking directly to them
to completion. Like holding our hand to our anger and realizing that those feelings
are a valuable resource that can be used to love or to heal as well.
I've written a couple of books. And I have no idea where I am in life.
What I can say is that when I took on the healing work with my mentor
he asked that. Like the talents given to men that I take my talent and use it.
I tried to get back into the beauty industry and found myself stressed out
and was able to thank God once again for my income to remain (from a different source!)
Right now I am on craigslist doing free clairvoyant tarot readings.
I just wish I knew what to do with myself. I've done volunteer work with HIV patients and worked at a care center and with the elderly, I think maybe my
think is that I am able to give #1 recognition to othersand #2 acceptance and love. And I Hope that they are open to it. I find myslef giving out food to neighbors and flowers as well anything to make this planet happier. But in my small way, wish it was a bigger way!
yet i am always wondering that I am making my talent happen.
If you have any ideas, anyone out there please answer.

My saying lately has been,

"there are thousands of people dying for a peice of bread.
There are thousands upon thousands dying for a bit of love"

and all good things

Hello Gloria,

I am returning to the site, and to your group, after a few months of living life lessons. I was just reading through your message above and giggled to myself because I am a living, breathing Aha!

Thank you so much for creating this group. It is wonderful food for thought.

Heather

Did you guys know that A is the first letter of the sanskrit alphabet and Ha is the last? A-Ha is the closing of the circle of sounds, the moment of manifestation, realisation...Sanskrit is a powerful truth language hence the power of sanskrit mantra...
Cheers, Chaitanya (which means conciousness in Sanskrit!) xoxo
