World Appreciation Day

Hi Everyone,
I am new to this group and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Dawn and pure inspiration struck me about 6 weeks ago when the idea of a World Appreciation Day came to me in the night. I am trying to reach as many people as possible around the Earth to join me and many others on 14 February, 2010.

Hello Eliana

Thank you for this group. Animals are our brothers and sisters who are so often just ignored. So many people claim to love animals but when it comes to actions it's easy to see that the "love is just a four letter word".

I've never tried to add a pic before, but there are two I wanted to share - the first is Sparky, our missing kitten, with Clifford, and the second is Carlita, a bottle baby who has just moved on to her own life. I miss them both terribly, but I know hey are well -

Animals are a beautiful blessing. As you can tell from my painting I love big cats! and little ones too. for Eliana: When I lost my beloved cat many years ago I could not stop crying. The grief was tremendous, but I did find some comfort by going to websites and finding many others who had also lost their beloved animals. I wrote about how much my cat meant to me and others replied. Know that our animals are at peace and don't want us to be sad. I also made a memorial with photos and momentos which I still have on my wall. Love, Linda

Eliana - our dog also passed away one week ago due to "Leptospirosis"...he was such a loving soul. I feel with you...they stay in our hearts.
