Global Free Hugs - spreading love one hug at a time.

On October 19, 2008, we held our first Global Free Hugs event and had people participating all over the world: Belgium, Brazil, Canada, England, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Spain, and the United States.

We'll be doing GLOBAL FREE HUGS every six months and the next one is APRIL 4TH - anytime during the 4th.

Our intention for Global Free Hugs is to get as many people around the world hugging:
Each continent participating
As many countries as possible
All 50 states involved
Peace leaders around the world joining in
And media attention to spread a positive story about people coming together to be the change they want to see in the world.

In October we received 42 comments from huggers around the world with people hugging in: Brazil, Belgium, Canada, England, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Spain, and the United States.
