Are you on Facebook and LinkedIn?

I would like to connect with you there also. I am trying to make more friends and fans so that I can spread awareness for breast cancer during pregnancy. I was diagnosed Stage 3 in the 5th month of my pregnancy in May. My status updates on Facebook and LinkedIn are usually about my fight.

Hi Amy,
Thanks for your 2 messages.
I sent a mail to RavenMoon33 but it didn't get through either. I think we just have to be with what is, and, like you, I'm sure Lynne is surrounded by people who know what they're doing to filter.
It's true that following threads & comments in this kaleidoscope can be disconcerting. We need an Ariadne's thread and Lynne is providing that. As a translator, I know that words can either lead you to what is behind them or away from it. So concision is of the essence.
This morning, here, I am receiving a lot of information on a personal level and have a lot of unravelling to do myself... Lots of things are in motion. This is Peace Day! Let's just ride with the wave.
Have an exceptional day!
Peace
Ian

Hi Amy,
I'll have to check the Chilton video. I wasn't able to open it right away. Dr Bolte (http://drjilltaylor.com/index.html) gives several techniques in her book about how to access the right side of the brain, but Lynne has given some techniques that also accomplish the same thing. There are also some techniques in the Global Coherence Project. (http://www.globalcoherenceproject.org/)

The way I've been doing it is, as I close my eyes and try to center myself in a quiet place in my mind. I try to not talk to myself. Any time that there's a conversation going on I know I'm looking to my left brain, so I 'look' to the right side of my head, where I find silence, so I try to 'listen' to that side. It usually last for a short time then the chatter comes back again. Thinking about what I'm going to write to you, how I'll describe it, and a myriad of other things of great importance, I'm sure. Left brain again. OK, without any judgment about my 'failure', I look back to the right and find silence and NOW. Right brain is always in the present time. This time my attention comes down from my head looking down real close to my spinal column and my heart. There I can stay for a while longer. I 'look' at my sensations, what is going on with my feelings. Then is when I see/feel the energy flowing. I let all my cells get filled with that energy/vibration and let it flow through me, from the bottom up to my head and out to Sri Lanka and all the world, to the rest of my fellow participants and back to me.

In essence we are trying to break a habit we've formed from our childhood. Using the right brain AND our left brain to do the perceiving of our world instead of just the left. But I see that as too unstable, like a very narrow raft floating on a turbulent sea. So if I add the heard below them, it becomes like a keel on a boat and my state of awareness becomes more stable and can remain there for longer periods of time.

However, even more interesting that this is the fact that, as we do this looking at the left brain, right brain, the heart and so forth... WHO is doing the "looking"? Ahhh... THERE is the "I". There is where we'll find the WHO and WHAT we are. There is where the Rock of Creation "resides". This is where the Zen masters talk about the "no mind". The Lao Tze said: The Tao that can be described is not the eternal Tao. The name that can be spoken is not the eternal Tao. The Bible says not to give a name or an image to the Creator. I believe this is what they are talking about. When we "get there", we'll KNOW what Reality is, and we'll be home.

Anyway, that's my thinking.

See you later in the Ether.

Namaste.

Hi Amy,

Thanks for your kind comments. I'm glad you are aware of our constant transformation, even, or specially, over long periods of time. I'm always reminding myself that life is not like a movie, where long periods of time can be presented in a mater of minutes. Unfortunately, or fortunately perhaps, we have to live through those long periods of apparent inaction.

What is forming in my mind is from connecting dots that have come across in my life journey. The awareness of the existence of this "other dimension" that exists right next to and through us comes from practicing the I-Ching, the Course On Miracles, and some meditation methods. The confirmation that that is not all hocus pocus is from the new directions that science is taking, like Epigenetics and quantum physics. And the knowledge that the problem is all in our minds is also from science, this time neuropsychology.

For over 15 years I've been writing a story of what I've been finding out. This started with my Meditation story http://www.oceguedaproductions.com/html/meditatn.htm . A great piece of the puzzle, for me, was when I read a little book by Dr. Gazzaniga called The Minds Past http://books.google.com/books?id=uIsEajEwVQsC in which he described a mental mechanism in the left hemisphere of the brain whose function is to make ourselves think that we are a "good person" regardless of whatever crazy, misguided and/or evil things we may do. We all have it. They've called it "the interpreter". It's been conclusively demonstrated that is exists. It receives all perceptions from our body sensor organs and interprets them according to past memories and its own knowledge base, makes conclusion as to what it mean in the present, THEN it is transmitted to our awareness. After that we act according to those instructions, and we believe that we are making some conscious, rational decision, when in reality we are acting according to an interpretation that may or may not have anything to do with the present situation. Most of the time we are "solving" problems or fighting phantoms from our past and we don't even know it.

Realizing that every social organization acquires a life dynamic of its own, from a church group, to a corporation, to a nation and actually the human species, I can see that those "living" groups also have a similar mechanism and it is in magnificent display in the present situation here in the States. It should be obviously clear to anyone who wants to see that the present wars are criminal wars of aggression to secure access to oil resources for "our" people. And yet, the people in power, through the media, think tanks, government organizations, etc. (they comprise the "interpreter" mechanism of our national being) keep trying to convince us that it is a just war, a preemptive self defense war. (That this is still believed by a lot of people, despite the exposing of all the lies used to convince us to support the initial attack, is beyond my comprehension. The only thing I can say is that they must be in total control of their own mental interpreter. Completely unaware of the real world. A "faith based" kind of existence.)

Anyway, this is nothing new or unique to the US. Every nation (and organization) has this kind of apparatus. It is used to justify whatever actions they take. They need their population/workers (because the population of the nation and the workers of an organization is what supports the power of the rulers/administrators), to keep believing that they are good and just. Because at the bottom of it all, that is what we really are... good and just, and we want to believe that we are being true to ourselves. It is the conditions of our surroundings, the institutions created by those in power, churches, schools, social groups, advice councils and so forth, that make us, eventually, crazy.

However, our individual "interpreter" mechanism is not evil (As far as I can tell. Maybe there is a seed of evil in all of us that IS trying to kill us, that is trying to make us fail in the original goal of our life. That if we were to follow that impulse, it would accomplish that end. I heard someone say that in life we do need a real threat in order for us to pay attention. That if it was not the case, we wouldn't try very hard. But that is something I'm not sure of. It'll take more observation to determine that for myself) The "interpreter" is just trying to do the best it can with whatever it has at hand. For example, I hear some people saying that our predatory economic system is justified because there is this natural "law" called "survival of the fittest", therefore, if we can take it (whatever) from the "other" it's OK, because we are demonstrating that we are fitter to survive that the poor sucker we just fooled. So our interpreter feeds us that sort of mental picture so we can say, to ourselves, "Hey! I'm just following a natural law. I'm not doing anything wrong."

I heard somewhere something that I think is very true... "The world we build is not made of bricks and mortar. It is made of stories."

The stories we tell ourselves of who and what we are is what makes us capable of doing the stuff we do.

This is why the experiment we are participating in is very important. This will provide, if our assumption that intention can influence actual events proves correct, another story that can be used by our interpreter to move us in the right direction and to eliminate some of the more damaging believes/stories we use to our disadvantage.

Of course, the final goal is to not have our interpreter be the ruler of our actions. I believe that we'll need to learn to use our left brain, in partnership with our right brain and our heart. Then we'll be able to perceive reality with much greater fidelity. (This is the next page I want to work on in my web site).

Now, as for your original question about what I see happening by 2012... (Gee... sorry about being so long winded. I didn't expect to take this long, but to explain what seems to me will happen, or hope will happen, I needed to explain where I am coming from.)

When I took a course on Vipassana meditation in which we were meditating for 6 or 7 hour per day, sitting in the lotus position, trying not to move, I was amazed at how the advanced students were able to stay in position for such long periods. For me it was torture just after 15 minutes and was unable to sit still. It was too painful. Eventually, we learned that by simply looking at the area of discomfort as we were meditating, by simply viewing the pain, without trying to push it away and avoid it, with total equanimity as our teacher said, it eventually went away and we were able then to concentrate, in peace, on our present condition, trying to activate, to feel every cell in our body, and some more stuff.

I think that something like that is what will need to happen in our "social body", in our nation. The election of Tweedledee or Tweedledum will not make any difference. The whole political landscape is in the pockets of the same people who've driven the country into the present situation. Our nation is on course to a hard crash because it is based on a pack of lies http://www.oftwominds.com/blog.html . There are going to be a lot of scary situations. But in order to become a new social entity, we'll need to be still and look at all that we've done... the stuff that's been done in our name, without any thought of punishment or hatred, but do it we must. In the open, with full media exposure. Sunlight is the best disinfectant. At that point we will also see our brothers and sisters in the other lands as members of our own family and we'll be able to work in concert to fix whatever we need to fix. Nature will rebound in no time just as soon as we let her.

There are many people around the world who are awakening to who and what we are, and we will provide the base for the new social structure that must form. There are many of us. We just don't get much ink on the media. That's OK. Gaia is finding other ways to connect us and become aware. It's a natural process, I believe.

The age of Together is just about to arrived.

For a good intro to the right/left brain situation, you can check Dr. Jill Bolton Taylor's lecture:
http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/jill_bolte_taylor_s_powerful_stroke_of_insight.html
It is short and inspiring.

Anyway, this is my dot connecting. Please let me know what you think... and sorry about the length of the message.

Peace.
