Compassion & Love

Culturally and often religiously, we are directed to exercise compassion and love. That’s a difficult thing to do and its display is often artificial and an act that arises out of a sense of obligation in certain situations. Buddhists I think honor compassion but avoid staging its display. Other religious practices may do the same. Compassion is arrived at slowly from awareness of the condition of both living creatures

Just because the problems lies deep inside, and are regularly not problem. They need to be enlight to see that solution lies nearby. My hope is to find a way that everybody can light himself to see the right thing to do in his life.
I not really sure that it is a dream, because indian philosophy is very strong, but as always it is not ready for anyone to understand.
About the LHC, i think that they want to play with something new. that's all. Even if they find new kind of energy or something else, how could they bring this to people ? anytime they will need to understand that power is nothing without control.

sharing these profound, keen and useful insights on Compassion and Love. I agree that Buddhists exercises and practices can provide a nice ride into fuller and richer states of Consciousness. And I am equally grateful, as well, for all the uncountable other ways which are available for taking this ride.

He believes money is evil and wants to run for senator in Vermont. I've a real challenge with this one.

Zeitgeist does show that many things can happen in the shadows and we need to be more alert and aware of cultural and societal manipulations. I was particularly impressed with the astrological and historical references about the 'messengers' throughout our history. I've had some interesting personal experiences that support the existence of Jesus, beyond the widely accept.

There are a couple of great books I've read, Biocosm and The Lucifer Principle, that share much on how anthropic our universe is and how deceitfully leaders have manipulated the masses. It appears many folks, or at least the 'activists' would like a level playing field for all. I think that could just as easily diminish one's capacity for excellence, although from teaching inner-city kids I know there are some who could really use a hand.

Mathematical constructs are a good way to resolve the logical issues for the intellect. However, one does not necessarily need the constructs to understand a direct experience of some import in the personal constructs of reality as you know. It is indeed a challenge to quantify how the proton, electron and neutron (as basic constructs of our material experience) are affected by consciousness, which is the component that has only recently been introduced to the equation, so to speak. Just how connected are our thoughts to things, or the manifestation of experience? Hopefully this leads us to better understanding of the dance routine of science and spirituality, eh?

Yes, consumerism is out of control. Its almost like a spell people are under. I made the mistake of going to Macys Saturday evening....they were worse than bad tempered wild animals looking for a kill. I had to leave before getting what I went in for cause the energy was so negative. Sometimes people scare me ; )

I've also noticed that many of the new films, including The Zeitgeist, address matters from a Northern Hemispheric angle, forgetting there is another piece yet to emerge. The Mayans (and I'm sure there is an ancient African slant as well) recognized the natural cycles of the moon and yet our Gregorian calendarization is bereft. Recognizing these cycles and rhythms of life are what leads one to greater self-awareness and actualization, in my humble opinion. We have a long way to go, it would seem, yet I love being at the forefront of the discovery/articulation of a new living awareness that synergizes the science/spirituality spin and takes it to a new level. The challenge is getting these folks loose from the belief systems that are so deep in the unconsiousness of society, like the idea of duality.
