Dear friends, I am asking for all your help.
My nephew, Jeremy, just had surgery last Thursday and the doctors removed a tumor the size of a baseball from his brain. He is just a young man and Saturday, January 31st, he had a seizure which has left him weak and he has a hard time talking. He can walk 5 minutes at a time. Usually they are so upbeat and positive. But now they feel helpless. Please view his picture here:

See him and his beautiful wife and daughter happy and living life to the fullest. See him getting stronger and overcoming this obstacle in his life.
Thank you sooooo much, Lynnette

Hi Judi,

Thanks for adding me as a friend. In answer to your questions, I would not go the OBE route for connecting with you Mom. There is a much simpler way. It works so well that most people think it is too simple and often shrug it off as imagination.

Do whatever prep work you do to put yourself in a meditative space. Picture your mother in your mind's eye, calling out to her as you do. Start with seeing her full-bodied in front of you in your favorite outfit (or hers). Begin to gradually focus in on her face and look directly into her eyes. You are now linked. As long as you can keep your skeptical self at bay you will have a direct connect. The deeper into 'trance' you can go with this process (relaxing and breathing while remaining conscious) the clearer your communication will be. Remember that thoughts travel at approximately 241 trillion miles per second, so exchanges can take place before you even think of blinking (figuratively speaking that is).

Let me know how this works for you.

Now, OBEs are a different story. The more you 'try' the more you will keep them away. Again, it is a process of learning how to quiet the mind and let go of attachment to the body. The more you 'think' the less able you are to do it, if that makes sense. Shamans often used spirit helpers in various forms (sacred plants) to assist their experiences, psychotropics help the waking consciousness to become less intrusive. The same can be achieved through using music and creating a sacred space (intention). Have fun and always remember - there is NO DEATH... separation is an illusion.

Namaste,
Zen
