I experienced premonitory dreams since the age of six. Long ago I started to recognize patterns in the various events of my life and stopped believing in coincidences. I tried surrendering to the will of a higher power and even abandoned my career as an actress in France to lead a contemplative life in an ashram in India. At the time, I thought I would spend the rest of my days in peaceful meditation as a monk. Little did I know that I would meet someone, get married, and come to the United States by way of Hawaii.

Then I tried the other method: focus and will, taking full control of my life without limitations. At the time, I took the EST training and participated in one of the first focused intention groups with the Hunger Project.

In my experience, both methods work equally well. The only times in my life when I was unhappy were when I forgot that the source of happiness was inside me all that time and I needed only reach for it.

Now, I write novels that include my beliefs. In Ashes for the Elephant God, where two murdered lovers meet again in India in this life, the theme is reincarnation and karma. In my Science-Fiction stories, angels are aliens, and demons are their brothers of a different race, and good an evil engage in battles where the stakes are not always black or white. And many of my kick-butt heroines display paranormal powers. I'm currently working on a series of medieval legends involving magic ladies related to Morgane the Fay. Legends are fascinating as they tell a truth too dangerous to expose at the time.
