I would like to connect with you there also. I am trying to make more friends and fans so that I can spread awareness for breast cancer during pregnancy. I was diagnosed Stage 3 in the 5th month of my pregnancy in May. My status updates on Facebook and LinkedIn are usually about my fight.

WHEN YE PRAY
If you don't have time to read this now
Please save it for later . . . Believe It
It's worth reading . . .
Have you ever had a prayer answered? I wonder what wouldn't folks
give just to know that when they prayed, something DEFINITE would
happen! Another question: Have you ever wondered why it is that some
prayers are answered and others seemingly aren't?
Scripture says,
"What things so ever ye desire when ye pray, belive that ye receive
them, and ye shall have them."
Please note the period at the end of the sentence. It does not go on
to say, 'probably'. It doesn't say, "if you've been good.' And it
does NOT say, 'if it be God's will.'
The way I read it, t'would seem that BELIEF is the ONLY condition
imposed upon us if we would have our prayers answered. Hmmm...unless
then we believe that we receive our request, our prayer WON'T be
answered. Seems simple.
"Believe! The promises of God are real. They are as real, as solid,
yes infinitely more solid than this table which the materialist so
thoroughly believes in. If you would only believe, O ye of little
faith."
-- George Washington Carver
OK, please pay attention here: A prayer granted implies that
SOMETHING was done in response to the prayer, which otherwise would
NOT have been done.
Right? Right?
Therefore, the one who's doing the praying MUST also be the one who
grants the prayer.
I'll say it again. Therefore, the one who prays MUST be the one who
grants the prayer.
Think about that until you get it!
Mankind refuses to assume this responsibility, and our refusal has
become our prison...plain and simple.
This world of ours is built upon the Law of prayer and its answer,
yet man incredibly, refuses to see this relationship. Thinking that
GOD may answer or ignore his prayer, man never knows whether he will
hit his mark or miss it. That's because his mind is unwilling to
admit that GOD has subjected itself to its own laws. Very few people
can believe there is a relationship between prayer and its answer;
cause and effect, yet it's clear that they are two sides of the very
same coin of thought.
You might want to go to the Book of Luke, the 17th chapter. There,
the story is told of the healing of the ten lepers. Appealing to
Jesus to have mercy upon them, the lepers were told to go and show
themselves to the priests. And as they went, so were they healed.
You see, in those times Mosaic Law demanded that when a leper
recovered from his disease, he was to show himself to the priest and
obtain a certificate of restored health. What Jesus did was to impose
a test upon the lepers' faith, and supplied a means by which their
faith could be raised to its greatest potential. If the lepers
refused to go, then clearly they had no faith and, therefore could
not and would not be healed. However, if they obeyed his words, upon
reflection, the full realization of what their journey implied would
heal them. And it is written that as they went, they were cleansed.
"Oh what peace we often forfeit; Oh what needless pain we bear. All
because we do not carry everything to GOD in prayer!"
--Old Baptist Hymm.
Personally, having been led to seriously ponder the nature of prayer
and its answers, I have come to agree with that song through
experience. I believe in the practice and philosophy of what men call
prayer, but not everything that receives that designation is actually
prayer.
Understand.. .that to pray is to elevate your consciousness to the
acceptance of what it is you seek! You lift your consciousness by
assuming the feeling-tone of your desire already fulfilled!
Experience, in your Divine Imagination, what you would experience in
reality if your prayer were answered.... .NOW!
"You can attract only that which you first mentally become and feel
yourself to be in reality."-- Ernest Holmes
Prayer means feelingly getting into action. It means, holding your
attention upon the feeling of the desire already fulfilled until it
shoves all other feelings out of your consciousness! !! Prayer is not
a mental effort, or an act of will, but a surrender of self to the
knowing that your desire is ALREADY fulfilled. Are you understanding
this? Just kidding.
If your prayer brings no response, there is something wrong with your
prayer because prayer properly done always--and I mean always
works!!! When it 'doesn't', the fault usually lies in too much
effort.
The number one rule is to make NO EFFORT. If this rule is truly
followed, you will naturally and intuitively move into the proper,
relaxed attitude.
Co-creating with God is not an act of will, but a deep receptiveness
and a uniquely keen susceptibility. The acceptance of the answered
prayer FINDS THE MEANS FOR ITS REALIZATION! !!
"So when you commit to discovering and expressing your faculty of
Divine Creativity, what emerges is living and expressing from a
deeper dimension of your being. This is real aliveness."
