Healing by email
I just received information about a fascinating study carried out by Francesca McCarney, Ph.D., a teacher of professional intuitives at the Academy of Intuitive Studies and Intuition Medicine. She
was inspired to create this study in 2000, when one of her students of healing
and the American-based mentor, began to ‘encapsulate’ healing intention to
the other in emails.

I am thrilled to announce that psychologist Dr. Gary Schwartz of the University of Arizona is partnering with us to conduct a new Intention Experiment, which will build on all the experiments that we have done thus far.
In this new experiment, we will be using water to ‘send instructions’ to our barley seeds to grow faster and more healthily than normal.
Building on our Germination Experiment
This new study will build on what we’ve learned about water and about intention and seeds thus…

Plans are growing for our Peace Intention Experiment, which is fast turning into a ‘Live Aid’ of Intention Experiments, with the potential of hundreds of thousands of participants.
We have now set a date of September 14 for the Peace Intention Experiment, so put it in your diary today and if you haven’t already, please register at
www.theintentionexperiment.com.
These will be the start of an ambitious series of scientific studies to determine…

I’ve been hearing about some fascinating involvement in Intention Experiments by some of our readers and participants in Intention Experiments that I like to share with you.
The first is from the School of Metaphysics, in Windyville, Missouri (
www.som.org).
Barbara Condron, one of its founders and a teacher of metaphysics for 31 years, kindly wrote to inform me that she discovered our work just hours before our Water Intention Experiment, which participated in…

I’ve just got off the phone with Rustum Roy, who has an exciting meeting planned with a Belgium company tomorrow. This company is worked with the Finnish materials physicist, Kiva Rainen, who has developed equipment with the unique ability to capture all parameters of water.
As you may remember, we are interested in examining whether intention changes the molecular structure of water. With our April 26 study with Penn State University, we tried to ascertain whether there were any changes in the…

Something happened, but we’re not sure what yet
The Pennsylvania State University team have been number crunching since our Intention Experiment on April 26. We finally have our results, and the answer is: we’re not sure exactly what happened.
Initial measurements did not produce a definitive positive result or indeed any profound changes, although it was possible that something had affected the water before the official time we’d sent intention.
It turned out that our water register…

While we’re awaiting our results of the Water Structure Intention Experiment, I just heard some exciting news from Dr. Gary Schwartz about our Intention Experiment Germination Experiments.
Dr. Schwartz has analyzed all six of our experiments and combined them into results that will be presented and published at the Society for Scientific Exploration’s meeting on June 25-28.
Schwartz combined the results of all six experiments and discovered a highly significant result, demonstrating the power…

Last Saturday, April 26, as you know, we ran our historic Water Structure Intention Experiment. People around the world participated, for the first time, in attempting to turn ordinary distilled water into ‘healing’ water by changing its molecular cluster structure.
The scientists from Pennsylvania State University are still busily analyzing the results by studying the results of Raman spectroscopy, will recorded any subtle change in the vibration of the molecule.
Unusual calibrations…

Our Water Structure Intention Experiment will be run in one of the labs in Pennsylvania State University’s Materials Science department in the dark. Right before the experiment, the scientists will test the sample with a Raman Spectrometer.
Here’s what one looks like.

As you can see, the probe will be inserted into our water sample, like this, and measurements taken periodically…

As you know, our next Intention Experiment is going to attempt to change the structure of water. So that begs the question: what is ‘structured’ water?
I asked Dr. Rustum Roy and Manju Rao of Pennsylvania State University to elaborate further on the meaning of structure in water and the implications of our experiments to change water’s structure.
As Manju explained it, the ‘structure’ of water, from a scientific point of view, refers to the molecular arrangements of individual water molecules…

I’ve been in touch with Dr. Rustum Roye, professor of materials science at Penn State University and Manju Roe, his senior scientist, both of whom will be carrying out our Water Intention Experiment on April 26.
Our first experiment with Penn State will attempt to change the structure of water.
I asked Rustum why he is interested is looking at changing the structure of water. Here’s what he said:
“All studies in all disciplines agree that liquid water, and to some extent, ice, are the absolut…

Last week I was speaking with psychologist Dr. Gary Schwartz of the University of Arizona, my partner in many of these Intention Experiments, and who disclosed an interesting anomaly in our latest Germination Intention Experiment run in Austin on March 1, which has enormous implications for the infectious nature of our presence.
To understand what happened, it’s important for me to explain fully how these experiments are run.
Each time we have run our experiment, Dr. Schwartz’s lab technician…

In the last few weeks, I’ve come across two cases where the thoughts of doctors made patients in their charge measurably worse.
After developing a swollen gland under her armpit, a girlfriend of mine went to see her doctor. He took cursory look at her, then pronounced: “I have some bad news. It very well could be lymphoma.”
This was on Friday. Since her blood and other tests would not be carried out until Monday, Deborah had the weekend to digest the fact that she might or might not have cance…

In my line of work, getting insulted is all in a day’s good work.
Our oeuvre is a perennial target of the orthodoxy. British columnists include us in articles about ‘JUNK SCIENCE’ and liken The Field to Star Wars. A skeptic once claimed that listening to me was like listening to Martha Stewart after she’d baked and eaten hash brownies.
I was eight months pregnant with my first daughter when we launched WDDTY. Moments before I was due to appear on a TV debate with a prominent doctor columnist,…

I have some exciting news. I have been in discussion with Deepak Chopra, the Alliance for New Humanity, and the Association for Global New Thought, an umbrella organization of New Thought churches, about having their members band together to run a giant Peace experiment in the autumn 2008 . The New Thought churches are planning their own consciousness initiatives, but as one giant supergroup with enormous publicity, we would have the largest experiment of all time.Of course an experiment of this…

As you are working toward an egoless state, keep a journal of your transcendent experiences and report them on our website. Here are some of the aspects of it that Charles Tart believes you should include::
* While feeling relaxed, recall a moment when you felt outside of your ordinary reality—at one with the universe—a moment of precognition or ESP, a special dream or a eureka moment.
* Write down any memories, sensations and feelings you had, when it occurred and where you were at the time.
*…

Many people ask me about what it feels like to ‘move aside’, as I mention in Powering Up. How do I drop the ego and connect with The Field?
I can answer that best by examining transcendent experiences — those moments when people have experienced cosmic consciousness — a loss of the self and feeling a sense of oneness with the universe.
All of us at one point or another in our lives have experienced The Field: a sense of unity with all things and with the life force—during a dream or some alter…

When carrying out intention, many people believe that you must ‘see’ the exact object of your desire clearly in your mind’s eye. But for an intention it isn’t necessary to have a sharp internal image or, indeed, any image at all. It is enough to just think about an intention, without a mental picture, and simply to create an impression, a feeling or a thought.
Some of us think in images, others through words, still others through sounds, touch or the spatial relationship between objects. Your m…

In honor of Valentine’s Day tomorrow, I’d like everyone to have fun with me by carrying out a special personal Intention Experiment.
As you know, I always refer to personal manifestation as an ‘experiment’. When trying out your own personal Intention Experiments, I always recommend that you select a goal that has never happened to you but that you would like to have happen. If you choose something that seldom occurs or is particularly unlikely, if it does come to pass it is more likely to be th…

As
you know, I write a great deal about training first in your head when
carrying out your intentions.
These
ideas have been distilled from practices now used in professional
sports. Every elite athlete worth his salt routinely practices
what’s usually referred to as ‘mental rehearsal’ to
enhance his level of performance and consistency.
More
than visualization
