Could there be a cosmic virus in the universal matrix

The notion of a virus in the cosmic mind may also answer many questions, such as, are there purely negative forces at work?

Could a cosmic virus be the equivalent of the devil or a fallen angel? Another idea of matter being transmutable and having both, positive and negative qualities also fit well into a concept. This would make what is known as god and the devil part of the same being?

The Chinese system of Yin and Yang looks at the whole as also being the one! Follow the black hole through in a tree dimensional version of the symbol through and it leads out to the white hole! In the immortal words of Michael Cane "not a lot of people know that"

I myself came across this conection when publishing a book for friend on 4 dimensional geometry! A project that took up 7 years of life on a roller coater journey into a 4 universe!

I would be most interested in any feedback on the above, sending my best wishes to all Steve

Hi David, I would agree with you on the yin yang principle and the value of contrast.

If I was to follow a way it would certainly be Taoism! There are so many of the laws clearly explained within this text. “The sage takes action in no action” is the law of energy conservation, taught to many a martial arts student or Olympic athlete.

If we where to go along with the idea of all space being occupied then, the freeing up of space in order to create new designs, would be an essential part of the overall process? So the destructive side would be needed to create the raw material for the building blocks?

However if there is a design optimum, has nature or the universe got an off switch or the ability to choose what to leave intact and what to disassemble?

Yes I also agree that there is a tendency in human behavior to place anything they do not want or understand into the negative, I suppose this is most fear based?

Hi Gerard

Thanks for such a well thought out reply! I have taken notes, if you do not mind, as I am on here to learn as well as share. To look at the world through the eyes of a child, as the saying goes!

Yes purpose is more looking back from the future where as free will appears to be in the present. Maybe the energy associated with free will needs to be in a state of entropy, in order to be entirely free? Perhaps this is the sacrifice of Eden? Maybe my PC should be an Apple? Yes I do believe the masses will come to same mind set, of being aware of being part of the greater whole. The piped seems to be running out of tunes and more and more are becoming aware of being on the dance floor and dancing to someone else’s fiddle! Yes using the laws of conservation, it’s far more efficient for the human race to operate as a part-whole structure as opossed to a series of competing parts. Competition certainly behaves like a virus, dividing adjoining parts and making them work against each other! However Co-operation works in a symbiotic way with an expediential effect on the energy put in. Looking at nature over a time period clearly shows symbiosis to be the commonest denominator as opposed to competition? It’s great to hear people like your self talking about interconnectivity and unity as I believe this is the only true way forward! It appears to me that the glass prison is about to shattered? Yes! This is Eden and yes it’s been robbed from under our noses by a small minority of people. I do hope we are not too late with 2012 so closely pending? Steve

Rather than 'virus', I would tend toward using the words 'meme' or 'paradigm' instead. I find that, in following with the Yin-Yang concept, for every positive or negative meme that propagates, there is usually an opposite or balancing meme that follows. It makes sense if you look at the world through the filter of duality, with the idea of a "Light Side" and a "Dark Side" battling for the hearts and minds of humanity.

For example, here in Canada the Law of Attraction is gaining a massive amount of momentum and energy. Almost simultaneously however, there followed a string of phone scams, telling people they had won a trip or vacation or prize as a lead-in to get their credit and personal info etc. So now we have a bunch of people who are using the law of attraction to improve their lives, yet who are conditioned to think "it's a scam" when they hear the words "You've won!"

As stated by Gerard above however, I do believe that this duality serves a purpose within the unified field. We have a cultural (possibly global) paradigm that says, "without resistance, there is no growth" or "no pain, no gain". Until we collectively step into what is commonly referred to as "Dharma", or learning through pleasure rather than learning through pain, the dark nastiness out there serves a purpose.

Now to take that from a global level back out to a universal one... a 'demon' from one culture is often a 'deity' in the next, depending on their perspective and their needs. The "rain god" of one tribe, bringing life-giving waters to the parched deserts, might be the "flood demon" of another tribe, whose village was wiped out in a massive rain. It's just a matter of perspective. Most of the time, we attribute the quality of 'evil' or 'bad' to things we don't like or want. To someone who does want it, it's not evil or bad at all, but rather a blessing.

It's all about perspective. :-)

Steve, you give us some intriguing questions to ponder about. Here's my go on the virus of the universal matrix:

Since all of the forms in this matrix seem to be of high complexity there obviously is some intention behind them. This would also hold true for the virus, which would mean that evil or destructive forces are part of the picture.

I acknowledge that they are and I have a model in my mind in which they have their proper place. It has all to do with this other deep thing, called 'free will'.

Wherever there is a purpose there is also the part of reality that is outside of the purpose. Free will allows us to create purposes and pursue them. As soon as these purposes are defined for a group, or for the whole of mankind for that matter, it is only a matter of time before someone says 'I am not going to pursue that particular purpose'.

Think of a world without war, where everybody can have the basic needs of clean water and food. As soon as somebody is not in on that comon purpose he is going to create other, smaller purposes. He can become so isolated that he doesn't mind hurting others to achieve his own goals. The domination of one man over another is the most comon form of that.

So the virus entered the system when unity was lost, which was a natural effect of the existence of individuality and free will. Thus it does serve a purpose and the end result is pretty obvious too I think.

When it has served its purpose, with maybe some horrible consequences, mankind will grow to the point where it is evident to everybody that a simple basic unity should be maintained, out of free will, not by someone elses authority. And then we will have reached a state of maturity that can only come through experience. Then the virus is gone and will not return, it has created its eternal prescedent.

In biblical terms it is equivalent to the destruction of the devil, the smoke of his destrucion that will rise for all eternity and the restoration of paradise.

Does this concept fit into your model somehow, Steve?

Gerard
