Has anybody given any thought about 2012 apocalypse?

We are coming up to a unique planetary alignment in 2012 and our sun will also be in its solar centre. There are many videos on YouTube about this subject matter and planet x! There are also social and political changes taking place and rumour of a New World Order fascist state. Is there substance in these rumours?

Many paint a very bleak picture, with little hope and some are taking positive action on a social side. Please look for your self, to confirm what's mentioned above and reply below.

Could 'one' of the universal laws called 'Intention' be used to change such large scale events?
Are there any people already contemplating or working on such a projects?

Are there any people working on alternative social systems and systems of exchange and barter?

This all sounds a bit odd, however if a modicum of what is being reported on Youtube and elsewhere comes true we are in for some very difficult times ahead and we only have 4 years left to formulate a solution!

In researching for a paper in Cultural Anthropology I came accross an article about Planet X orbiting close to the earth in 2003. Causing the 'bleak picture' to occur. One question to be asked is; is this just another hoax meant to keep the population in fear?

If people were actually afraid then maybe it is a hoax designed for that purpose, but people are much more educated and rational than they were 1,000 years ago. Do you really know anyone that is afraid? They used to think that the world was flat and that the sun orbited the earth, none of these were true..

Whilst browsing through your discussion I'd like to add that I've just finished reading a book called Keepers Of The Garden by Dolores Cannon, which is about exploring past life regressions where she regresses a man whose past lives were from alien worlds and other dimensions. It is a real eye opener and supports the theory that we were in fact created by another more highly evoled race.

It has always been my theory that this earth was seeded by a planetary system in the process of collapsing. Survivors were brought here and placed in various parts of this world closest to their own former environment. Also brought here were plants they
knew and perhaps animals as well. When they arrived, they were "beamed" down without clothes or anything of their past and had to begin at cave level but they brought their languages, customs, and their individual genetics... all of which survive in varying traces even today.
Why was it done? Because we are a planet of genetic traces of many planets. there was not one Adam & Eve but hundreds... When we go out in space and explore other planets, we will find a whole planet of Japanese, but no other race. A whole planet of Chinese exclusively and a whole planet of Black people, etc, etc. I believe we were integrated in order to be open to many races of human. One needs that ability in order to explore space. And that would be the only reason it was done...

Thomas C & Starion, I think an interesting book is “Gods, Genes, and Consciousness” by Paul Von Ward, 2003. His theme is that the earth has a history of ancient astronauts who spent time here, perhaps planted the human seed, influenced our development and left a legacy of scientific endeavor and mind expansion in the collective psyche. There is evidence of historic bizarre events many of which are buried in the archives of the world because we cannot yet incorporate them in our world view. Some are in plain sight. Carl Sagan was correct when he said that there is “no evidence” of such happenings. From a scientific consensus view (which is the way science works) no historic evidence has yet been “officially” recognized but the evidence is here in unofficial abundance. Ancient Hindu literature describes “Vimanas” which are UFO like vehicles piloted by superior beings. On-line from Wikipedia:

In the Ramayana, the pushpaka ("flowery") vimana of Ravana is described as follows:

"The Pushpaka chariot that resembles the Sun and belongs to my brother was brought by the powerful Ravana; that aerial and excellent car going everywhere at will .... that car resembling a bright cloud in the sky ... and the King [Rama] got in, and the excellent car at the command of the Raghira, rose up into the higher atmosphere.”

Another interesting discovery is the “Abydos helicopter” (I think Von Ward himself is skeptical of this one). A stone panel in the ceiling of a temple in the ancient burial ground of Abydos in central Egypt contains a carved relief of the side view of a modern helicopter along with side views of two other very streamlined vehicles of some sort. Egyptologists who are willing to discuss this panel claim it is a “palimpsest”. The palimpsest is an over carving or painting of an earlier work. Sometimes the result leaves an unintended or accidental impression. If you Google “Abydos helicopter” you can see the images. There are both pro and con articles on this artifact. JohnM

OK, my theory is based on some other facts. DNA. Your DNA reveals your race. Examine a bone fragment and know which race it came from. TWO:
In Africa side by side, Masai tribe down the road from the Pygmy tribe. Two very diverse cultures in every conceivable way. THREE: Japan has two kinds of Japanese...small boned tiny and huge warriors... I met a lady from Japan, taller than me, but beautiful Japanese features, Some groups of people are immune to diseases others carry.
Sickle cell only found in Black Race. If we actually all came from the same source, we would all have the same weaknesses and same DNA sources.
Not so. Understand I am not a scientist; just observing as I go along....

Starion, sorry I missed your Oct 28 comment. I think we could all come from the same original source but migration and settling in another environment for long periods of time could, I suspect, change DNA. Groups separated for millenia and even centuries could develop notable differences. If some migrate again and, after long periods of DNA modification, resettle near a diverse group, that could account for the appearance of notable differences between nearby groups. The big question here is, Can changes in environment cause changes in DNA if given enough time? I’m not a scientist either but I intuitively think that is possible. JohnM

Raoul, Steve and others, although we are all under the influence of DNA, I like to think that the neuroplasticity of the brain is capable of altering our behavior and, in some cases, our physical condition to function IN OUR OWN INTEREST as we intend it. I do believe that our own best interest is in synchronicity with the cosmos. We know it when we experience it, the certainty is most certain. With such internal modifications and external (cosmic) influence we can, over time, further modify our collective DNA for average betterment. The human race has raised the average practice from capture AND kill (to appease a god) to capture OR kill (to appease an ideal). Fortunately, the ideal is now less permanent and intractable than a god once was. The realization that we are actually better now than in the past and can be MUCH better in the nearing future, is discoverable in our growing expressed intentionality. Our continued rejection of the influences of narrow control and visualization with powerful focus on that crumbling edifice will collectively move us to where we INTEND to be. JohnM

Lisbeth, we were not effected (or is it affected?) by the recent Missouri tornadoes. May not be so lucky next time. We were very close to recent floods but high enough to be out of reach. We had a dry escape route but many others had the same route and it caused huge traffic jams. Thanks for asking.

I always like to say that everything is relevant. Given enough time, I think DNA is changeable for descendants but not for us in one lifetime, we are what we are. But, I do think in one lifetime the brain is highly changeable (neuroplasticity). The intelligence and skill to to do that is available to us all. JohnM

This we can do in our lifetimes however, change of mind [collective] comes slow. Of course we could always change our mind about that....
