Has anybody given any thought about 2012 apocalypse?

We are coming up to a unique planetary alignment in 2012 and our sun will also be in its solar centre. There are many videos on YouTube about this subject matter and planet x! Many paint a very bleak picture, with little hope! Please have a look for your self!
Could the universal laws of Intention be used to change such a large scale event? If so are there any people already contemplating or working on such a project? This all sounds a bit odd, however if a modicum of what is being reported comes true we are in for some very difficult times ahead and we only have 5 years left to formulate a working model! Tibetan Kalachakra teachings are prophesies left by Buddha predicting Coming of the Golden Age.

Egypt According to the Great Pyramid (stone calendar), present time cycle ends in year 2012 AD

There is nothing that you can do to change any planetary alignment or anything like that. Just as you can not change gravity on earth. You can sit atop the Empire State Building intending to hover out over the edge. But no matter what you do you can not change the laws the govern gravity. Once you step out over the edge you plummet to earth.

Humans have created these dooms day theories since the beginning of time. What are the Mayans basing their prediction on? No one knows. What science shown that there will be this increased gravitational pull and that it will be significant enough to bring an end to the earth? On youtube I see a bunch of videos about the prophecy but no evidence that this is based on anything real. Can you post a link to the videos that show REAL SCIENTIFIC evidence?

I am aware of facilities in the US, with pagers given to those who are the 'chosen' to be part of the population included. These are top officials, technology specialists, etc. This was done as a precautionary component to the survival of society - needed to rebuild in a time of catastrophic events.

I support you view about the Laws of Gravity but in a world of duality and opposites it begs the question..
"What if we learnt something about the Laws of Levity.' Viktor Shauerberger invented something during WW2 that seemed to ignore the laws of gravity, perhaps it's a branch of science we yet to come to grips with?
Shauerberger believed in the principle of Implosion as a desirable way to obtain energy, rather than explosion and successfully demonstrated that principle.
He did some really remarkable things that will, no doubt. in the future, be recognised as some laureat's world changing discovery.
In defence of the Mayans, unscientific as they may be, we actually went back to believing the earth was flat after their civilisation and Galileo was severely prosecuted by the Scientists of his day for suggesting otherwise.
We have no further information about the Mayans because the learned Men who discovered their culture destroyed the information? Is that Real Science?

I'm a little freaked out by the 2012 thing too, but I'm not going to build a bunker or anything. Some of these reply's have brought me back to my more sensible side as well. We also have so many more tangible things going on on Earth at this moment that we can direct our consciousness toward. And even if it did happen, there's nothing to fear, it would just be in the over all plan then anyway and we move into a higher consciousness...The thing that got me thinking about this 2012 thing though is the fact that the Mayans were able to predict a specific astronomical alignment over 2000 years ago. It amazes me that they were able to make these calculations.

Hi Saffronasha, yes the thought did occur to me about many people thinking negative about this event and materializing it! However, the event may well have some devastating consequence for life on the planet. So only trying to be prepared as much as I can be! If the Jay Weidner video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IV5e44iaCU is right, the US government are certainly preparing for some sort of disaster.
There is also reports of ancient tunnel systems that where man made, being found that may well have left over from last time around?
Yes string theory is interesting as shows us all connected to the universe! Yes I agree the many worlds theory is also highly probable. I published a book for a friend many years ago that clearly showed other dimensions could exist!
