LIFE FOR ME IS ABOUT HEALING AND LOVING.
Eight years ago I began remembering my childhood for the first time and discovered many things that needed to be healed (you can read about my healing journey on our website www.byinfinity.com under the "creative" link and then the "finding meaning" link). In order to devote the time to completing the healing process my partner Jeffrey (who is also on the IE website) and I decided to step off the treadmill for a while. Initially we went to Vilcabamba, Ecuador to experiment with a complete change of environment. We stayed there for 6 months and while it was magical and life changing we were directed to return to North America to continue our efforts here.
Since coming back we’ve travelled and lived in numerous communities, learning to live in the moment and with faith (in a purely spiritual sense). Every new place has been an opportunity to process and heal different aspects of the past, share our love with new people and often also help them process and heal. For the last couple of years I’ve felt as though I was no longer healing the past so much as rewriting it, so it was very interesting to read the portion of the Intention Experiment that dealt with our ability to affect the past as well as the future.
After many years of extroverted behaviour I’ve discovered an introvert at my core. We now live on the side of a mountain backed up against wilderness in the Kootenay region of BC. I enjoy the quiet and solitude and the company of the horses, bears, coyotes, elk and deer that range the land we live on. I visit the community when I feel the need for human contact and while I enjoy the company of others, I love to return to the peace of our little cabin off the grid.
AT THE MOMENT I FEEL I’M POISED ON A CUSP. I’ve searched the crevises of my psyche and can no longer feel any resonance with past events (and yes I realize that’s a challenge to the universe to present me with any potentially unhealed issues). I feel clear and positive about the future and I’m waiting with anticipation to see what happens next.
