Don't be sorry about having strange dreams! Your cats and mice are very relevant to the themes people have been dreaming about.
For a start, you got the multi-coloured aspect of the chameleon, you got that the cat wanted to make a meal of the mice. (Have a look at my blog to see the significance of this).
You also dreamed of the president's daughter - see gina's comment "I was reminded of the Bush twins" (I'm assuming you mean George W, since he is still technically the current president).
That's not a bad haul by anyone's reckoning!

Today is the day!
Please take note of any dreams or intuitions that you have during the next 24 hours. Please click on my icon/photo here to go to my Intention Experiment page to enter your submission as a comment to me. I’ll reveal the key a few days after the experiment.
Kenneth is the Keyholder. He has chosen the key that he will intend (!) to share with everyone. Your job is to intend (!) to become aware of his key. Please give your attention and focus to Kenneth’s instructions that follow here. State your intention as you are drifting off to sleep and trust that it will be carried out. I would suggest giving yourself plenty of time for sleeping. That will improve dream recall.
When you have a dream, don’t roll over!!! Get up and write it down! ha!
Details can be important. Please include as much detail in your submission as you are comfortable with.
Expect to have a wonderful experience.

Let us go then you and I
Far beyond the midnight sky
To a land where dreams abound
In siteless screens and silent sound
Where we’ll meet our spirit kin
And share the joy we have within
And psychically divine the key
So many layered symbolically
So hold your dream with rapt attention
For you’re the mother of its intention.
[Instructions]
You are going to visit a dream land tonight.
It is very much like Earth, with similar flora and fauna and humans but it
is not anywhere on Earth.
You will take a small journey before you meet me there so take note of
anything you see, hear or decide to do.
You will recognize me because I will have the key on display for you to see.
Even if you have never seen the key before, you will recognize it.
I'm looking forward very much to meeting you there.
Hello Dream Fun Experiment Number Nine Participant,
Please look for a comment from me on your Intention Experiment page November 9, 2008. That’s the day of the experiment. (Nine on Nine, get it? ha! We are so clever!) I will post it sometime between 8 AM and 8 PM Central Daylight Savings Time.

I have been to Sedona many times. I drive up there every two months to hear lectures by Dr. David R. Hawkins. My wife just made resservations for us to stay up there in between Christmas and New Years for four nights. We love to go hiking in the canyons. There are some energy vortexes there. For real. Last year I felt the presence of a wonderful uplifting energy. I stopped dead in my tracks, looked at my wife (who is not into what I am into) and I said, "Can you feel that"? She said yes what it is. ? That is an energy vortex. There is something magical about sedona. Then of course you have lots of psychics and readers, and energy healers of varying degrees of quality and legitimacy,
It is a wonderful place to be. We have thought of living there, but the houses are very expensive and it is more of a tourist town. I still like Phoenix. There is a super cool big traditional natural food store there in Sedona New Frontiers. These people have got it together. Right size store, lots of product, deli, small bakery and community feel. We go to our favorite Italian restaurant of all time which is up in sedona...Dahl and DiLuca. the best.
I will be voting on Tuesday.
